Decoding the "Healthy" Compliment

hmm (via egorgribanov)

Cooking Light surveyed more than 1,000 women age 25-plus, and among their findings: "Women would rather be thought of as healthy than trendy, wealthy, powerful, beautiful, sexy, or successful." Molly called bullshit right away. "When anyone says 'healthy' to me, they mean 'fat," she said, not looking up from her computer. "'Fit' means skinny and hot. 'Healthy' means you're a fat hog." Molly's kind of the dark one in the office. But we figured we should check Cooking Light's math. Either they're wrong, or maybe Cooking Light readers are more enlightened and really do hear "healthy" as highest praise. Hook us up with the real answer ladies, and please indulge our superficiality. Which would you "most rather be thought of?"
