All this timing/counting is cramping my style. 3/1 - 40 minutes bicycling (-10 for coasting/lights) = 30 minutes 00:01:30 sprinting (on Folsom & Harrison Streets) 3/2 - 60 minutes bicycling (-20 for coasting/lights) = 40 minutes 00:02:30 sprinting (Folsom, Howard, & 17th Streets) 3/4 - 30 minutes bicycling (-10 for coasting/lights) = 20 min / 90 total

foot music Between last week when while shoe shopping heard that song about ankles and then seeing the same band go on in another ditty about "got to get a new pair of shoes," -- I think there's some foot fetishing going on, happily expressed via sporty oriented music videos. I just might go for the decade dancing feat yet.
mmmm! or hmmmm? Day 1 smoothie decadence: Raw Cacao + Coconut Milk + Yogurt + Ice. BLEND + TASTE = add Ground Flax Seeds + Stevia. mmmmm-hmmmm.
the mother hips No one bike rode down to Sili Valli today, which was a bit of a relief. This week is crazy; I have too many deadlines due tomorrow, and I just found out a college friend whom I haven't seen since college wants to visit tomorrow night, and of course I do too. Good time for a yoga break, especially my favorite Basics Yoga that sends me home with good-fer-ya aches every time. Today it was hips.
blah, blah, blah: rambling on bikes and food VK + I went down the peninsula along Skyline. A few other people took the low road. It was magical; we went along a long and windy paved path around one of the reservoirs with little deer and bunnies. Then it started to rain, amplifying the amazing smells you get in them hills.
Sunnyvale side up After a three-week hiatus (I was busy one week, everybody else was busy the other two weeks), 5:07am departure on my Gary Fisher hybrid with blinkies all ablaze: Climb up and around ridge to Twin Peaks, over to starting point near SF State U., about 30 min.
easy does it No N at N-N-Yoga today. The nameless sub led more of a one-layer basics than N's multi-layered somethin-for-everyone. It helped diffuse yesterday's Rock Bottom. Nice to have an easy wrkout offset a stern one. 3 Stooges are up in the air and back in the hand for one round, sometimes.
detox Beautiful day, biked to morning appt & evening groceries. Eeked in a .5 mile @ Kezar Stadium, 4:12. Twice the distance in less than twice the time? Uhhh. I hope putting music in my phone will help. Lunchtime yoga, Natalie as usual took special requests from everyone. For me it was detox for the cough, compadre to detox day 4 of no caffeine or happy hour.
sad and more sad Unsuccessful at the timing part of wheel today. Dampening my enthusiasm to mix feat and class, digital stopwatch and yoga practice do not seem to go together. As I discreetly fumbled with this ill-fated round of stopwatch function, including an unfortunate hiccupping little beep, the teacher reminded me I needed to go narrower with the legs + feet, a pretty typical issue with this pose.
