i love angie lee i still can't over that i have been a member of my gym for three years, and i am now discovering angie lee... she is just a really great instructor. she walks around and looks at everyone, and corrects your form. i know i won't get injured in that class.
Strengthworks with Jeffrey great class, my back has been hurting and my quads but i am glad i went to class, feel so much better.
Tues 5/4 - training with Alex 70 mins of lunges, bosu and cable!!!
2 hrs and 5 mins of yoga!!! I am cured!! I can walk again! I have been sufferering.. my quads and glutes, pain has been unbearable... I cancelled my session with my trainer, bc I was in so much pain but I went to yoga. It has been a long time, this is my first yoga class of 2010.
quads and glutes are killing me - I hate stairs! so bc I was late to Angie Lee's class "Strengthworks" last nite, I missed the warm up.. so I am doing the hundred lunges in the class, thinking that I am all better and recovered from Saturday's workout. OMG!! my quads and glutes are killing me, so this morning, I go to spin class thinking that it will loosen my muscles..
running late for class, in empty subway car and was tempted to undress and change into gym clothes! Yes, I was in an empty B train, and was tempted to take off my suit and put on my gym clothes. Next time, I will put on my sports bra b4 I leave work... Yes, I was running late for Strengthworks with Angie Lee. I hate being late to a class where I do not know the teacher and have never taken the class.
Sat 4/24 - it was my birthday, so 2 HARD workouts.. burned over 900 calories then, I had a private BPW (Bars, Plates and Weights) session with Tom Sharp. BPW is similar to Body Pump. I love it... the other conditioning classes offered at my gym, except for Aleah, Jeffrey and Calvin...kind of bore me... I love the barbells!! anyway, I was too lazy to go to the 4th floor to get the barbells, so we used body bars instead.
Sat 4/24 - Live DJ in my spin class and it was my birthday! first went to Julie Bobek's spinning class, she had a live DJ...Deekron ‘The Fitness DJ’. The class also raised money for a great cause, Augie's Quest. the word recovery is not in her vocabulary.. she is hard!! great music.. the DJ was really good. it was really fun!! so 45 mins of spinning and 15 mins of Abs...
Tues 4/20 - workout #1 i was 20 mins late for my training session.. AARGH!!! geez, hate being late for training session.... anyway, i did 40 mins of hard work.. had to fit in 60 mins of work in 40 mins...
Wed 4/14- part 2 !! after the spin class, I went to Latin Groove, and then stretched for a bit and then took a 30 min Abs class... my abs still hurt!!!!
Tues 4/13 - I love Calvin Wiley!!! what a great instructor!! wonderful personality, so warm and positive!! looks at everyone in the class... I was not invisible.... class was so much fun... next year, I will take his dance class, Calvinography...
Sun 4/11 - Just Dance!! with Sabra Johnson what fun!!! what fun!! even though I can't dance, I had to go bc I love Sabra...I loved her on So You Think You Can Dance... Sabra is funny, down to earth, she moves so well.. really enjoyed the class. and met really great people...after that class, I decided I have to take dance lessons. I love to dance, and need to start from the beginning...
Sat 4/10 - workout # 2, thank goodness for good friends I was down, and my friend, Jen, after having done 2 workouts and now lives in Queens, came to Reebok to spin with me..... what a great friend. we took Aleah's class, unfortunately, the mike was not working, oh well, it was still a great class...
Thurs 4/8- workout # 2 Private Trainer session w/Alex
Tues 3/30 - zumba with Angi went to Angi’s zumba class 6:45pm-7:30pm, got there late!!!
Sun 3/28 - 2nd workout 5:30pm-6:15pm Cycle Reebok with Jade – I rode until 6:35pm, rode 20 miles ....
Mon 3/22- Spin Class Spin class with Al at Reebok 7:15pm – 8:00pm
