get into the groove did my cardio... high heart rate, long duration (for me)... done
3 whole minutes It sorta doesn't seem like a lot... but I increased my cardio by 3 minutes today. Nonstop duration at my high heart rate zone... Given that it's torture to do it at all [yet I do it] doing 43 is a deal for me... and I did it. I just gotta keep talking to myself to make it happen... (I almost cried when I was done!) Next week we up-it to 47...
he doesn't even need to speak! My trainer had laryngitis so couldn't talk during our session. Didn't matter. He demonstrated, pointed, texted, clapped and I often filled in the blanks. We had a great session and it was fun! He's my geek!
cardio tedious cardio there's nothing to say... it's grueling and boring... and my durations are only going to increase... oy... did it. that's all i can say...
here and there... well, having a hard time keeping to my own sleep challenge... life is so stressful, that I feel like I want to eat or stay up to the point of exhaustion or both. I've been trying really hard not to do the eating part, but still, even eating veggies obsessively isn't good.. .since it's about the how and when and why as much as anything else. Have I said lately that I love my trainer?
catching up take 2 Missed a cardio last week (even though I took a kickboxing class), my trainer didn't consider it part of the program he gave me, so I owed him! hmph! did the arc trainer this morning...
catching up yesterday make-up with my trainer... it's so good to have him home. I feel more grounded when i can train with him...
shadow Took my first shadow / kickboxing class last night. My trainer was out of town (yes, horrible, but I do support him taking a vacation once in a while, even if it means I don't get to work out with him...) So this class was hard...
start of a new 6-weeks Today starts my next 6-week cardio program. My trainer's kickin it up a notch. Increasing the duration week by week and pushing it at my high heart rate zone the whole time...

What I now think was easy, used to be hard. Sometimes when I do cardio, there's a moment when it's smooth sailing, and the activity - arc trainer or treadmill or bike - feels easy! And sometimes I'm struggling to get through. I think about quitting, but I hang in... I might slow down to catch my breath, but I don't stop... and before you know it, you're there! You've done it. I often wish that it was always easy...
cardio cardio Feels like I'm gettin back into my cardio groove... hitting my high hr zone much easier... just wish my legs/knees felt as good as my heart. 37". done.
my trainer is a genius If I'm hepped, if I'm tired, if I'm depressed or frustrated, my trainer has the treatment.... by the end of the session we burned lots of calories and had fun! we did back rows and planks and leg lifts and stretches and played catch with a medicine ball (interspersed with more planks)
tues again got to it. kb swings; back rows, leg lifts, squats; leg ext; triceps
cardio without boxing Sundays have become cardio with a sprinkling of boxing with my trainer, but he couldn't do it. Did that stop me? No. I still hit the arc trainer and got my cardio in. It's been a tough cardio week, but getting through it the best I can. This week will be a repeat of last, and hopefully I'll start getting back into a good stride... 38" arc trainer at high heart rate...
cardio date was late so I started without him Hey, I can't wait all morning... so i got on the treadmill and started without my date... Into it a good 20 minutes before he showed up... no sweat (well, actually, a lot of sweat)... I finished up my session and left him behind. I love treadmill dates cause even though I'm doing a fast walk and he's running, I'm able to 'keep up' with him! LOL
welcome home Back after 2 weeks away.... serious jet lag but there was NO WAY I WAS GOING TO MISS THIS SESSION... I couldn't wait to get back.. Yeah! We took it nice and easy and since I'm catching up with this post, I can say that my trainer has the midas touch cause my hammies are nice and sore!
getting back after 2 weeks two weeks away and boy am I feelin it. need to build up that consistency again. amazing how quickly it leaves... did 35" on the spin bike struggling to get up to my max hr... it was rough but glad to be back
exciting title: that I'm back in action! good sesssion with my trainer... nice a long, lifting and boxing and chatting... lovin it!
1 last one before the vaca Got in my cardio and a quick boxing session... last one for 2 weeks. What will I do without my trainer? (I'll do cardio and some exercises on my own - that's what!)
