Social Workout

The New York Kiva lending team is organizing a 5k run on August 29th in Prospect Park to raise awareness about Kiva.org.  Kiva lets you make person-to-person microloans to small businesses in the developing world, with a mission to connect people and alleviate poverty.  Net proceeds will be added to the non-withdrawable Kive New York Team Fund and will be loaned in perpetuity.  You can find out more about the team at our website www.kivanewyork.com, and more about Kiva at www.kiva.org
