No Late Night Snacking

Bored and listless, you rustle around your apartment at 11:30 PM. The Colbert Report is over, reruns of Sex and The City don't come on for another half hour, and you're wired from that last cup of Joe. What to do... You amble into the kitchen and open the fridge. Nibble at the cheese, dip your finger into the pot of peanut butter. And those cookies in the cabinet, don't forget the old box of oatmeal mixed with cream cheese! Before you know it, you've eaten a feast. And you feel like a fat failure. But not anymore. Give late night snacking habits a rest. No eating after 9 PM. Try it for thirty days. Take up another habit instead (just not internet porn). You can do it!

this is going to be tough. sometimes the only thing that gets me through late-night paper-writing is a crunchy bowl of popcorn.

perhaps this feat will get me to stop procrastinating. less snacking AND more sleep? sounds good to me!

I just discovered this website (11pm est) and promptly signed up for a fabulous October of good eating and exercise. I needed something like this to get my butt of the couch. Too bad I ate that heaping bowl of mint chocolate chip RIGHT before I stumbled here. Guess the healthy eating starts tomorrow...

I'm confused - do you hit feat accomplished each day you do it or only at the end of the month if you hit all 31 days for the month goal?

only hit "Acheived" after ALL days are complete.

you can track yourself to follow days, and the Feat Accompli when you completed it as it is described.

this'll be tough simply because we often don't eat dinner until 9pm or later!

I had made my personal cutoff 10pm. I'll try to stay on this 9pm curfew for the rest of the month, although I too tend to eat dinner on the later side.

This one was sort of easy for me because I wake up super early every morning to workout.

I'm starting this tonight.  I have one of those 12 hour a day jobs.  Eating dinner at 9 is messing me up.  I have to get back to my old rule of no eating after 7-7:30. I'm starting this tonight!!!
