Feat
Lo-gloo
Eat nothing made with wheat. We're only asking you to do it for a week. No wheat, barley or rye. Explore other alternatives: Corn pasta, wheat-free cakes, bread made from brown rice. Garbanzo flour, fava bean flour, coconut flour, Bob's Red Mill. A lot of this stuff tastes really good. You probably won't even notice a difference.

This is a good one for everyone to try. You might not think you're sensitive to wheat, but you might also notice that avoiding it is less taxing on your digestive system.

Already trying to stay away from the glutenous items, and I enjoy lots of other grains...I am sensitive to gluten but since I don't have drastic reactions (that I'm aware of yet) it's hard to stay away from bread and chips and crackers that have wheat and rye in particular. Over the last few months I've made a stronger effort to do so, but I cheat... Today is day 3 of no gluten no where no how... :-)

Fell off the Lo-gloo wagon last night. Damn you little crispy toasty bread cracker thingies!!! They are the perfect condiment carriers and the hummus that was served up with it... well, you get the picture... Today is day 1 (again!)

I'm talking a class this week from someone who is gluten intolerant.
Hopefully that will be my incentive to do the feat.

Oops. I bought spelt bread for the feat, ate some, then discovered that it contains gluten. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gluten-free_diet

I'm not quite sure I understand the positives and negatives about eating gluten-free but I've been doing it for almost two weeks now.
Can't wait to see what happens after I come off of this cold and back into the swing of things.

I may be the only person on the planet whose system works WORSE without gluten! This week I've been more sluggish/unsettled/bloated/you name it than I've ever been. How is that possible? I've been eating other grains (rice and quinoa, my saviors) but somehow it's just not the same.
I can't wait to have a piece of toast tomorrow night to celebrate the end of this week!
