The Kitchen Cure
Shopping and cooking for yourself is a key step to eating well. But it won't do to work in a kitchen cluttered with aging leftovers, questionable ingredients, burnt frying pans, and piles of old mail. Does that sound familiar? What you need is the Kitchen Cure, brought to you by our dear friends at TheKitchn.com. Beginning Monday, October 12, you will purge drawers, cabinets, pantry and refrigerator — tossing, recycling, donating, sorting and organizing. When it's all done, your kitchen will have
shed many pounds and be in the best shape of its life, and you'll be inspired to cook again.

Is the Kitchn doing an official fall/winter cure? I couldn't find it on the site.

It looks like you can get all the Kitchen Cure posts here: http://cure.apartmenttherapy.com/2009/kitchen
But it's a six-week program! Help!

The web site says "in eight weeks your kitchen will be clean, healthy and organized". Am I looking at the correct page?

Do we have to cram eight weeks into 31 days or do we just do the first half?

All very good questions! Apologies from HQ for the confusion and utter lack of Cure clarification. The Cure will be live on TheKitchn.com Monday, October 12. We'll be linking to more info this week to help get you ready. The Cure will last 4 weeks, and whatever you accomplish between the start date and the end of the October challenge will count towards Feat Accompli!

This is in progress. Still trying to figure out ways on how to spice it up - but in the meantime, cleaning all those crevices is just fine.
