rainy day awesomeness It was cold, rainy. I was running late. Watched 2 busses pass me while waiting to cross over to the other side, so I had to walk to the subway. Swiped my metrocard, hit the turnstile. Insufficient fare. I forgot I had to refill my card.
Long day in which I worked out ALOT I took Ultimate Ball class, then Buff Yoga. From there walked uptown for my massage which was so good. Came home. Changed into running clothes and went straight to Prospect Park for my running group. It's been two weeks since the last time I went. I was so excited to go back! I'm still getting used to having those plastic arches in my shoes.
Sore all over and feeling good I took Ultimate Ball workout and since Jess is back, decided to stay for Buff Yoga. That class was exactly what my body was missing. It's been like 3 weeks since I've taken it last and that made it so much harder. But I pushed through with my 7.5lb weights. I originally took 5's too for when I get tired, but the girl next to me didn't have any so I gave them to her.
the snap that finally closed I bought the skirt at least a year ago. I tried it on in the store and convinced myself it fit me. Tried it again at home and the zipper would not close. I intended to return it but by the time I actually got around to, it was too late. I was stuck with a skirt that did not fit me. Not the first time. It hung in my closet waiting for the right time. A few weeks ago I tried it on.
When did Brooke take over Crunch USQ? I took Beaming once before and did not like it. The spring schedule said Marc was teaching it now. I figured it would be different with him and I wanted to give it another shot. When I got to the GF room Brooke was there instead.
I skipped tonights running class :( It was a long day, lots of walking, and by the time I got home I wasn't in the mood. I did work out today. I took Ultimate Ball Workout. We did lots of squats and situps, but I forgot to count. I think I'll make it to 1000 without those anyway. I didn't do any pushups today. I did a small pullup/dip practice. And I ate a lot today. Is brown rice wild-friendly?
It's so good to be back at the gym (and get a real workout) I haven't been to Crunch since Thursday because I was taking care of a kid with down syndrome who was here for a couple days. I did have time in the evenings, but at the end of the day with him I was drained. The money was a nice perk, but I really missed working out. What will I do when I get a real job?? Todays workout: Ultimate Ball Workout class.
Today is just not my day Things were going fine, until I left the house. Here's what been going wrong so far: 1) Forgot my earbuds at home, had to use my big headphones when using the treadmill and those made me really sweaty. Not fun.

"it doesn't mean you're retarded!" Well, at least I know that much now. I decided to try a new class with Sandyliz today (as per her role in my workout life) - Ultimate Ball Workout. Hmmm...all I really knew is that it involves some sort of ball and a raised heart rate.
7 minutes make a difference don't tell krystal (and i hope she doesn't read these), but i may have skimped on the last few treadmill cardio workouts she told me to do. The past ones were somewhere between 20 minutes and 23 minutes, but today I did the full 30 minutes and sweated all the way through. And that was after 45 minutes of the Ultimate Baller class with Marc.
