The Physique 57 Full Body Workout Set Physique 57 has a reputation: UES women with bodies as tight as their faces. Also, a killer workout. The walk-in prices at the midtown or Bridgehampton locations are what you might expect: $35 per class. Cheaper than personal training, yes, but sufficient to keep the riff raff out. Until now! For a mere $49.95 you can acquire Physique 57's new three DVD "Full Body Workout Set." I did all three DVDs this weekend, and I feel like my body looks richer already. Tanya Becker, Physique 57's Co-Founder and Director of Training, leads both the Classic 57 Minute Full Body Workout, and the Express 30 Minute Full Body Workout. She made it immediately obvious why the Bergdorf Blonde set swears by this lady: She crushed every muscle in my body. But I expected that. What I didn't exepct was that Tanya Becker can be kind of hysterical.
Physique 57 & Walk in Central Park Workouts: 11:30-12:30: intermediate Physique 57 class: biceps, triceps, lat, plank, leg work, squats, glutes, abs. 12:45-1:45: 60 minute walk in Central Park what I ate today: 1/2 cup all bran 1/2 cup dannon lowfat yogurt 3/4 cup mixed berries(blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
Mix up and unexpected fun with my favorite My Saturday began with a jolt of panic because I overslept and missed Ride the Zone with Llaves. Fortunately, I was able to track her down after class for coffee and breakfast. After breakfast, I scurried home to work with a student for an hour...an adorable ninth grade boy who articulated is learning style with incredible awareness. So cute.
Workout #101 for 2010 Wow! 101 workouts down for 2010. Most of them have been at ride the zone but others have included running, physique 57, and yoga. Today for #101, I took the intermrdiate class at Physique with Stephanie. This class does not get easier, the leg work burns and the glute work goes on and on. Why go? The results are fabulous.
Tuesday Torture YiTikes! My class at P57 was tough today. The thigh work and core work was the toughest. My muscles always wonder why I put them through it--mind over matter! Feats: sun saluted made bed sleep log: 12:30-8:30 whole grainy: whole wheat toast with almond butter, oatmeal, soup 1000's: abs: 3 sets of 20, pushups: 3 sets of 15

Too crowded in the changing room! I love my Friday Physique class because it is a quieter than most days. Except today was packed. The class was great and the numbers worked so that didn't get to me, but their changing area is getting out of control. Most days I don't bother to shower there. Of course, today I had to and I left really annoyed. I think they need to find a bigger space.
I so wanted the double shot! So I made it to Marion's RTZ 7:30 but felt tired. Something about the energy of the group at the early morning class perked me up and the 7:30 flew by---and I wanted to keep going! Marion's Tuesday 7:30 class runstraight into the 8:30 for the double shot. Unfortunately,I couldn't afford the time to stay until 9:15 but I did stay until 8:30 which made my ride 60 minutes.
My usual I didn't really want to get out of bed today but knowing that I made coffee plans inbetween spin and physique witm my spinning friends got me up and going. Steven taught the 8:30 spin and it got me going, especially the speed intervals in between the intense climbs. Coffee was fun. No knew gossip, JBJ apparently at the Thanksgiving Day Ride in EH.
Physique Week This is shaping up to be a very Physique-y week for me. I took Kim's 8:15 tonight. It was quiet which was nice since I work in Rock Center and spent the last few hours of my workday listening to people shriek over the tree lighting. (I know, I know. I'm trying not to be a grinch.) Anyway, I'm hoping to get in a nice run on Friday to mix things up.
Starting the Week Off Right 7 am Physique. Sweat Sacred: 30 crunches. naughty flogging: 2 truffles. yum.

10/1 Physique 57 Virginity My intro to Physique 57. Did the full 57 minute full body workout. Wussed out once and just sat on my mat while the people on screen did pushups, but otherwise I was all there.
