dance dance dance!!! when do i get a cool costumeeee?? (when i get good enough for pro!)

here we go!! omg my dance rehearsals are getting NUTSO!!! I think we jammed in way too many dance items for one repertoire, and our amazing and gifted teacher has to manage the whole thing. She's pretty stressed cause it's just not together yet. We're kind of a mess at the moment. it's going to be so much work for all of us, but we will get it done and it will be amazing!!

going to get it! bharatanatyam dance class 8-930pm... 3 addavus (steps) in 1st, 2nd and 3rd speeds: tattadavu 3, that thai ta ha 1(i think), ta hata jam tari ta Mishra (7 count) alarippu. oy vey i need some work on this Jathiswaram 6 count, 6 korvais (sets of steps)

yoga's fault it's yoga's fault that i'm this way. i breathe and move with greater ease. yoga shows up everywhere expected and unexpected. when i'm in the mood to hear it. when i'm not. the supermarket, when i need to be patient with lines and others. the kitchen, when i need to make healthy choices and treat my body kindly.

(i like when he comes around class looking at postures and goes "that's a SICK trikonasana! nice!!" haha. :) day of errands 4pm Kundalini yoga with Siri Rishi at Golden Bridge. sat nam!! mmm chai tea with almond milk is good

dance class not the best workout today. but something. -a few addavus (steps) -Alarippu (high-energy opening piece) in Mishram (7 count rhythm) -padam (the expressional pieces we do that are not a workout at all)

Urbansherpa is tired of trekking and wants to hire a secret sherpa to carry her bags please. workout uno: Prema Yoga with Lesley at 715. man, i was sleee-eeepyyy! serious case of the mondays. but good to get movin! i felt strong today in my warriors I's which is a nice thing. after yrs of warrior I-ing, I still usually feel like I'm not quite a warrior. But...with all this excessive yoga-ing I am totally starting to feel more and more warrior-like!
