Oh Trampoline, How I Missed Thee....
I was religious about my urban rebounding class. The group dynamic, the loud music pumping, and jumping on that trampoline -- it's transforming!
But I got lazy about going because I preferred to take an earlier class. I went back last night....I don't want to EVER skip it again!

I love Urban Rebounding - the combination of LOUD dance beats, dim lights, and jumping and sweating in a group fitness class, there's really nothing like it. It's so detoxifying and I have never left that class with anything but a FANTASTIC mood!
Everyone should try this class!!

Adventures in Shen Tao
How to describe Shen Tao? Imagine a three hour ballet class, conducted on a trampoline, and featuring pullies and 20 lb weights strapped to your ankles. Or don't imagine that, and just know that I've had long term relationships that asked less of me than this class. And maybe given me less too...
Shen Tao combines ballet, urban rebounding, and Pilates. It's extra physical, and yet also has a yogic touchy-feely, finding-a-connection-with-your-emotional-center element.
"Three-hours is intense," I remarked the first time I walked into Shen Tao Studios. Bill Hedber, Shen Tao's creator, looked at me with pity. Over time, I learned that Bill sees S.T. less as a fitness class and more as mind-body "practice" akin to yoga. He's so dedicated, that he has started giving away the classes for free: Starting this week classes are by donation only....

Thursdays Workout
I have a couple days of workout blogs to catch up on. So let's start with Thursdays workout.
Thursday night is the busiest night at the gym. I really have to coordinate in order to get the classes/workouts I want. So on Thursdays I HAVE to leave work by 5:30pm or I won't make it in time for when the sign-up lists come out.
