Tell me all about it...
Took a different Yoga class today at Crunch. It was good and hard and very sweaty. I swear I sweat more than anyone in Yoga classes that I start to feel kinda self-conscious...like why am I the only one dripping?! Sometimes I have to skip doing crow pose bc there is no way I could balance my knees on my arms with that much sweat!

Had the day off to comb the city with my friend H who is visiting.
HAD to get my workout in though. I got to the gym at 6:30 to do some Yoga with one of the fighters. I surprisingly did ok considering I havent taught in a really long time. I also practiced along with her. 1hr and 15min.

Sharing Yoga practice
Hadn't been to Ambyr's yoga class in a really long time. Its one of the awesome ones. I went early and did a 3 mile interval run. Been trying to slowly increase my speed and distance on my runs. Its so brutally boring, which makes it difficult for me. Then did 20 min of bag work. Working on my switch kicks.

Got to the gym by 7am today. Did 2 miles on the treadmill, intervals. Then my cool down on the elliptical. 15min.

Kingston, NY for 5 fighters!
I went to another incredibly boring class at Yogaworks. WOW. Then 11am Kali and 12pm Muay Thai. Then got ready to head up to Kingston with some of the guys from the gym.
The event was awesome bc the fights moved quickly and we had 4 unanimous wins! 1 no contest due to an accidental headbutt.

I went to 8am Muay Thai. BC and I are both really overtrained. I am still doing my Yogaworks trial damnit! I went after Muay Thai class. Took class with this great instructor. She taught a few weeks back at Lululemon. But the class itself was not challenging at all. I hate when I take a yoga class and I am not sweaty. Like NOT at all.

Loss of depth perception is not good when someone is trying to punch/kick you.
Ever have a yoga instructor who teaches class in a voice in which people might think a yoga instructor is supposed to sound like? That was my experience this morning at 6:30am. It twas a bit unchallenging but restorative. I have mixed feelings since I am trying out Yogaworks SOHO.

Went to the gym early with BC since he is in weight cutting mode. I didnt have a great run. Didn't do intervals but nonetheless completed the run. Then 8am class.

Flying elbows
There are no benefits to elbow month. I walk down Canal St and think about what kind of elbows the tourists who get in my way deserve. OR those annoying people who stand on the street and try to get you to sign petitions or children's international and/or greenpeace. Yeah, I'm thinking about what kind of elbows in the face they get too.
