keeping-a-good-thing-going flow series

The challenge may be finished, but apparently I am not. With my found hour this morning from the end of daylight savings time, I checked out a vinyasa yoga class at Bread & Yoga, a new studio in my neighborhood.  Not only was the instuctor terrific and the mixed level class challenging, this beautiful new studio - tin ceiling, bamboo floors, huge windows - also&nbsp

Day 2: Emotional workouts, hypothyroidism, and cilantro pesto!

Here's the lowdown on today:

  • Early morning workout: 30 minutes on the elliptical plus a pretty serious core routine. Does anyone else get emotional when they do core work? Sometimes it makes me want to cry. It's kind of hard to explain. There's something about it that makes me emotional. Not in a bad way. In fact, I sort of like it. It feels kind of...raw.
