Not good for business. Will do better days 33-37.
Day 31: banana bread, fajitas at a crappy mexican restaurant, two margaritas, countless shots and cookies. Bleh.
Day 32: fried chicken biscuit from Hardees to cure the hangover, a couple cookies.
Started my historic dancing feat so I could get all 10 in before the challenge ends. Basically, this feat for me will be an ode to the White Stripes - my favorite group and one that filled the last 10 years with sweet music.
You know what I realized last night? I think naughty flogging is actually impacting what I eat. Not because I'll feel guilty when I type up my food indulgences or something like that...but just by bringing awareness to how much I'm indulging. I eat treats every day, especially during the holiday season, but I really believe this feat has made me mindful not to let it out of control.More...
Finally cracked open a dvd my mom gifted to me a while back - Baron Baptiste Soul of Strength. I was inspired to try it out after she demonstrated some poses brilliantly today. I know this isn't a yogic thing to say but I was jealous! One uncoordinated and inflexible practice under my belt...
Flog: Big slice of german chocolate cake and an extra buttered potato roll (mmm...)
First, worked in 40 min of yoga even though it was a busy day yesterday
Also went carolling in the snow! It was so beautiful but after about 4 houses we were wet and cold and returned to the house to resume drinking (for those of us who hadn't brought drinks on the road).
Friday flog: 2 slices chocolate pecan pie, too much reuben dip, tortilla chips, eggnog
Yesterday's flog: 3 homemade cookies and a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream
Left work early yesterday to take a 3 hour nap. After a full night's sleep this morning I am finally feeling close to healthy. I took it easy with only 30 minutes of yoga, but that counts! Sooo good to open up my body and start to feel normal again.
1 black forest cookie, 1 sugar cookie, and a small bowl of vanilla bean ice cream with sparkling cranberries - all homemade. Half a glass of red wine.
Not bad for attending a holiday luncheon in the afternoon and hosting a dinner party last night! I even mindlessly reached for a second piece of bread and stopped myself, realizing I didn't really want it.
Not bad...some homemade cookies including 1 chocolate chip and two sugar.
Following my several day stint of not working out, I got wicked sick Monday night and have felt like ass since. Actually, I'm feeling a little better this morning, just taking longer to heal than I'd like because I'm having a hard time sleeping.More...
Immaculate. Seriously, I even got a craving for something sweet after dinner and had a dried pear.
