Summertime
After a hectic June, I've now fully embraced summer and am thrilled with my two month departure from the city.

Hour Zone: JBJ got a big shout out from Carrie
Workout: hour zone with Carrie. Summer spin season is around the corner and rumor has it JBJ will be a regular at RTZ in east hampton this summer. He is a big fan of Carrie's class and in anticipation of his seasonal return, she channeled him some love by playing cowboy by the man himself. It was hilarious and a tough climb!

What I ate today: 1/2 cup fiber one with 3/4 of a cup mixed berries and 1/2 cup low fat yogurt, approx 20 oz glass of water mixed with Lakewood Cranberry juice,

Carrie taught an incredible class at Ride the Zone this morning. She taught "old school zone" at 9:30 am. It had more leg work than upper body work, but she managed to squeeze some in there. Steep long climbs, think adding resistance nine times from a generous flat and and the continuing on the top of the climb out of the saddle for an entire song and adding a little more!

ride the zone, 7:30-9:15: Carrie's double shot is always a great start to the day. A tough workout with great tunes and laughs along the ride make the crazy ride fly by. Tough switch backs, cyko climb, and tons of races while adding resistance. Love her!

Workout: carrie 7:30-9:15. Awesomeness!! Food: hot water with lemon juice Clementine whole wheat toast with almond butter grilled salmon with dark leafy greens and olive oil. Tons of water to be continued.....
...simple dinner at home: two organic eggs with spinach and mushroom, sweet potato with a bit of organic butter, peppermint tea.

GDF is continuously striving to develop more research and treatments for the many many families that have suffered from not knowing they carried a genetic disease until it was diagnosed in their child.

Workout: ride the zone double shot: carrie green, 7:30-9:15am sidecrunches: 120 what I ate today: orange juice, almonds, tons of water, oatmeal with berries, 3 scrambled eggs with spinach and mushrooms, hot water with lemon juice, carrots, asparagus and hummus, two glasses of champagne.
