My legs didn't want to run this morning but I had to do it! Watching Angel on the treadmill helped though. Amrit's yoga class was as good as ever. Lots of sweating.

Went to Capoeira Luanda's outdoor class again with my homegirl Pincel. Was tons of fun and even though it wasn't as aggro as last time I still didn't really play that much but had a lot of fun singing songs.

Avoiding the roda

Its always better when I can make Amrit's yoga class twice in the same week. I like the consistency of it. I did a quick 2 miler before class as well.

Did my 2 miler before Yoga class. Holy sweatsville...I am sweating everywhere lately. Like I want to mop up my mat after every class. Anyways...I should be practicing more, bc I really see the difference it made that I practiced 6 days last week. So, obviously the whole Jury Doodie thing is not making it easy for me this week.

Workout

Crab walks and bear crawls.

Noon Muay Thai...pad work and a few rounds of light technical sparring.

Taught Yoga to the kids...I decided to tire them out a little more so they have no choice but to do savasana.

Capoeira...omg 2 hour class! The conditioning kicks my ass but atleast I'm still able to do it. Roda play was a bit off...learning new techniques for old kicks. Kinda cool actually. Must ginga WIDER!

morning workout: crappy cardio. I just couldn't get into it today. my calves were so sore! I did a pretty lazy set. Restorative Yoga class to follow. Felt soooooooo good.

afternoon: Noon muay thai. Uhmm...tech sparring with no gear?! SCARY but it worked out just fine. I caught a knee in my calf but that was all. People who normally try to kill me were actually working nice and easy.

Passing on the good energies

I took it easy on my run this morning and spent some time on the ski machine thingy. Had an AWESOME Yoga class. I love classes that are kind of hard but feel like you've traveled through a major journey by the end. Savasana always feels so good after!

Waking up from a sleepy savasana

It was tough to get up this morning. Ran BEFORE Yoga. Yup. It was good run too. Love them freakin Vibrams. I swear they have changed my life! Msh, when we doing our run together?? Yoga class was good, for some reason I skip Amrit's balancing sequence lately. I also opted not to go into Tripod today...the class was too crowded!

  • What's your number one workout spot? My living room in Brooklyn! I have a giant mirror, a tumbling mat, 2 hula hoops, some weights, a couple swiss balls, miscellaneous balance things, and resistance bands. When I hook up my laptop to external speakers and blast my favorite Pandora station, it's the best gym ever. 
  • What's the healthiest thing you eat? I eat at least 1 apple a day, and stick the apple sticker somewhere on my refrigerator. I've collected thousands and thousands of stickers...
