week three, complete!
I finished week three of my couch-to-5K program on Saturday. I was in Maine visiting some friends and family and it was a really nice cool morning. It was only about 65 degrees out (much cooler than I've jogging in). I went through a promenade overlooking the ocean, through some gorgeous tree lined streets, and by one of my old apartments (condemned now, weird).

Yesterday was awesome fourteen times.
I woke up to my husband coming home after a red eye back from LA. Awesome thing number one. With him were three Double Doubles from In-N-Out, one Animal style, just for moi. Awesome things numbers two, three, and four. I tried to go back to sleep but had some trouble, so I stayed up and knocked out some emails before heading to the gym for Matt's 1030 Ride.

so all the snow & schedule changes have really messed everything up. a week of work cancellations does nothing but bury you for the next two making the gym an impossible feat. on top of that the absolute unending cold has my guy and i staying in with the need of ridiculous comfort food - mac & cheese, gallons of soup, too much home made bread.
