The Final Feral Day!

Wednesday.  And...I completed 8 out of 10.  I could NOT do one pullup (but that doesn't mean I stop trying!), and I failed my DIY of turning 20 nights in before 10pm.  Oh well.

Today was crazy, trying to finish off my sprints.  I only had 10 more minutes to knock-off, but I JUST DIDN"T WANT TO DO IT!

On Losing Challenges...and Mothers-in-law

Tu.  Tai Chi warmup.  3 x 15 situps, pushups, and squats.  Morning workout, Tabata Protocol Intervals, 4 sets @ 20 seconds each (10 seconds rest) followed by shadow skipping and running in place for 5 minutes.  Stretches and 5 sun salutes.

"I Crushed this Feat!"

The drums of feat crushing are thumping. It was a long, wet, quiet Monday. Passover for some, the start of Holy Week for others, just a day of weekend recovery for the secular and hard living. For nfolkert, however, it was a day to spontaneously exit the gym, and run barefoot through the rain in the park. In so doing, he became the first official finisher of The Feralicous. Hooray! Blow the long curved tusk horns! We're coming home honey! We may be muddy; we may have slept poorly; or have trouble breathing; or we may be limping; but get out of the way, because we're coming in! Just two more days to go, and the bonfires are burning in the distance. Onward!

M.  Billy Blanks' Tae Bo Flex Express DVD, ~20 minutes.  A bit too easy...hardly broke a sweat.  3 x 15 situps, pushups, and squats.  5 sun salutes.

Just before the rains hit hard

Su.  Another slow-going morning, but I at least managed a climb up the mount before the rain got too heavy.  From Madigan's and ending at my house, 51:19 (I had a companion, so my pace was slower than usual).

Rainy workout by Hamilton Lake

F.  No morning workout. 

Brekky:  2 poached eggs over polenta.  Lunch:  homemade baked beans in a jacket potato.  Snacks:  banana & Brazil nuts; rice cakes & mashed avocado.

38:09 walk around Hamilton Lake with sprints (3:12:99).  3 x 15 sit ups and push ups.  2 dips, 0 pullups.

Hump Day wore me out.

W.  1:23 prone bridge.  3 x 15 sit ups, pushups, squats.  5 sun salutes.  Knockout, 1 hour.  Too beat to do Pump, but went on to meditation, 1 1/2 hr. 

Ate horribly today.  :(

WHEW!!!

M.  11:04 walk/run/sprints (2:13:43).  Tai Chi warmups followed by 3 x 12 situps, squats, pushups.  2:00 prone bridge.  Morning workout, 3 sets @ 15 seconds each:  lateral squat jumps, kicker push-ups, mountain climbers, glute bridge leg lifts, alternating plank lifts and a combo of single-leg lateral hop & single-leg forward reach (courtesy of Underground Fitness).

A little behind with the posts....

Th.  Got some catching up to do...with posts, anyway.  Work had a hold on me, keeping me away from the very beloved SW.  ;(

Today began with an ascent up Mt. Rouse (44:14) followed by 3 x 15 situps, squats and pushups.  Tai Chi this evening, 1 1/2 hrs.
