worst savasana ever
i forgot to mention that in my kundalini class yesterday i experienced the worst savasana of my life due to a child FREAKING OUT directly behind me. parents, please if you are going to being your child to a class full of weird energy flying around you might want to actually make sure that this does not freak out your kid.

It's been a while. I send my greatest, most sincere apologies for my absence. I am...fine. My body is a hot mess, however. Over a period of 4 weeks I've:
-poked myself in the eyeball with my pinkynail, scratching my cornea. which heals, and then repeatedly re-opens...maybe every other night during REM cycle sleep.

I've set a record of how many days sans yoga I can go. Throwing out ones back (sacral spine area) is a doozy! You just can NOT push it. And trust me, I tried. After the first 2 days of bedrest I felt that it was not so bad and that I could make it through a yoga class by taking it easy and not pushing while there. This

I *may* go to yoga later to see if I can just skip the vinyasas and be gentle, oh i'm gettin old! where's the bengay??? did a 25 breath headstand just to get out of my head since i'm stuck at home working and my back hurts more sitting at the comp. pigeon pose, uttanasana, janu sirsasana's. free'ed some space in the lumbar/sacral spine. maybe would be good to get out.

I am out of commission for the next day or two. Not able to work as a photo retoucher because I only have one working eye! (scratched my cornea!! mofo hurts!!) Not sure I should work out, sending blood to the brain or tensing my facial muscles could lead to me blinking bad, opening the cornea cut again. but my FEATS are not going to be lost!
