Hating Equinox and glad I quit
Am I alone here? I know I am not. Was an all access member for way more years than I want to admit, but I got tired of (in no order): the 26 hour sign up rule (should be called the thirty second or you are closed out rule), the three strike rule, teachers not showing up for class, overcrowded classes, classes not starting on time (Wil Ashley, this means you, you cannot start a 9 am class on time when you waltz in at 8:58), locked up Kiehl's products, complete indifference by desk and management (when, if ever, did a manager ever introduce themselves to you?), trainers walking around in street clothes while on the floor and training, spin teachers who never get on the bike, the new bikes and those frigging lights that don't stay on, My EQ (so annoying, like anyone uses it). Complaints and suggestions which are ignored. So I quit. Am paying a bit more, but I am spinning at Flywheel, going to Pilates at a couple of studios and taking core fusion at Exhale. Never felt and looked better. People know my name and seem to care that I am giving them my fitness business. Worth every penny. Equinox, the tide is turning against you, pay attention!
