Saluting the Daily Hour at 850K

An Hour a Day!

Mloggers, on Day 96 of the MMM we quietly pass 850,000 minutes. It's time to salute all those challengers who have logged an average of one hour a day of activity, for the last 96 days. This is a group nearly 40 strong. (Above we give you just those who have logged almost exactly an hour a day). Bravo to the Hour a Day Club!

And now a deep thought: We all have lousy memories. When we are sleep deprived and out of shape, we forget how much better it feels to be strong. When we are in shape, we sometimes forget how tenuous the situation. Challenging ourselves means not just doing something, but also varying what it is that we do. It means trying to stay, as much as possible, in that first state of awareness and gratitude, and so it requires constantly seeking new limits, accepting new kinds of pain, and researching new kinds of calm.

The Million Minutes will someday soon come to an end, so use it while you've got it. If you have fallen off the exercise wagon, climb back on now for a our triumphal arrival. If you are stuck in a routine, no matter how productive, consider changing it. Let's make it to One Million in style!

Man, if I'd only started P90X a couple of weeks earlier I might have had a chance to pass lilbeaz in the DVD workout category, but I think we'll hit a Million Minutes before then.  :o)

Woops! Apologies for the typo: Fixed now: maymay is the new leader of the dancing category (bravo!), and erikka is the longtime top mlogger in cycling, spinning, and rowing.

Matty G. Never underestimate the MMM's longevity. ;-)

Yeah, but it looks like lilbeaz just catch-up mlogged about 450 minutes of DVD workouts so unless I want to start doing P90X doubles I think I'm gonna have to settle for 2nd.  :o)
