Joesgirl Feat Suggestion #1: Over, Around or Through
I have several of these feats cooking in my head right now, but this one is the most present one since Oliver's post last night, so this one is going into the pot first.
This feat has a psychological as well as physical component. First, the psychological: pick something in your life that you need or would like to get over, get around or get through (I have a big one I'm working on this summer). This should be not-little stuff (e.g., this is not an "I need to get over my phobia of ants at picnics" feat but more like "I need to get through this process of grieving that ex-boyfriend who broke my heart three years ago but who I can't stop thinking about" or "I need to get around my habit of self-sabotage at work and find another way to cope with the fact that I don't like my job").
Next, pick a locale for exercise: it must be something you have never done before, and it must be an "over, around or through" that corresponds to your psychological portion of the feat. (Areas that immediately spring to mind: a run OVER the Brooklyn Bridge, AROUND the Central Park Reservoir, or THROUGH a neighborhood to which you have never been but have always wanted to explore). For the duration of the summer, you have to run/walk your "over, around or through" four times, and you have to do it BY YOURSELF.
Now here's the last component: your exercise should be a moving meditation. While you are running, walking, climbing, whatever, your intention will be to focus your thoughts during the entire time on that which you are trying to get over, around or through in your life.
Watch what develops. Pay attention to the breakthroughs. And, of course, mlog it.
