Dancing Toward Six Hundred Thousand

MMM Dancers, Day 57

Hello dogged, patient, beautiful mloggers. Each day you put up thousands of minutes, and slowly, inexorably, we are getting to one million. You are out there sweating alone, but you form small tribes in this challenge. The crazily prolific, and then the category loyalists. Today we salute the dancers. Is there a finer way to sweat? To honor them all, we award, effective immediately, one hand-folded Social Workout t-shirt to maymay who is leading the challenger pack behind Spirit Guide Sarina J., (who, let's face it, gets paid to dance.) Thank you dear dancers!

Diversion is often the essence of endurance, and so allow me to remind you of the $100 Lululemon giftcard poised to go to that challenger who submits the best gym or yoga studio or running path vignette by tomorrow (Friday) at 5 P.M. Did you hear or see some priceless exchange while working out? We want to know. At present, we have just one worthy entry, so the odds in this race are not insurmountable.  As usual, details on the final phase of our Halfway Mark Stimulus Plan below. 

Since last I wrote (on Tuesday!), our leaderboard has stayed in place. The big news is that bwaytapper has broken the 13K barrier and opened a 1,000 minute gap over michlny. Can bway hold it? We'll see. One million or bust!

Halfway Mark Stimulus Plan, Final Phase

• What: Must submit one "Overheard" vignette. See here. This may be short or long, and funny, disturbing, or inspiring. But it must be real, and (mostly) unedited. Don't be caught without a pencil! 
• Who: Any MMM challenger in good standing. Newbies still welcome!
• Prize: $100 giftcard redeemable at a Lululemon near you.
• Deadline: Friday, June 11th, 5:00 P.M. EST.
• Submission Format: Please submit via standard "Workout Post." Images, audio, and video welcome (if vaguely legal). MUST be tagged "HMSP" to be considered.
