Ready To Kick Ass

So after Feralicious I decided to take a break... Sprained gluteus, tired feet, depression coming on like high tide - all classic signs of over-training. It's been at least 10 days since I've gone to the gym, and it will be a full two weeks by the time Thursday, April 15th rolls around - the first day MMM. In the meantime, I've avoided certain doom (read: flab) by cutting back on my portions and increasing protein. I've lost some fat and inevitably, I've lost a little muscle too. But slowly, and surely, my energy and focus is coming back. Each day I wake up with a renewed sense of purpose, wanting to get my chores out of the way so I can go out and play. By the time Thursday, April 15th rolls around, I think I'll be ready to kick some ass.

Haha, not to worry, it was completely gym related! Got a little ambitious doing squats and it just got worse from there because I refused to take a little time off. Well, now you know what not to do. =]
