The Challenge Is Over, Long Live the Challenge

It's Over!

Oh Feral ones! One savage chest bump to all of you. One wild bellow on behalf of every feat crushed, and every workout logged. In 31 days, you collectively averaged 67 workouts a day — despite epic rains, major political battles, minor injuries, and nasty flus. Bravo, really.

And those numbers are still climbing. As previously noted, you have the rest of today to catch up on your posting. (Yes, your feat page is still accessible.) Meanwhile, the judges have arrived at Social Workout HQ, and will begin their deliberations soon. What? No, the Feralicious did not come with fancy package vacation prizes, but we will, as always, attempt to honor those that inspired the rest of us. Please mark your calendars: Tomorrow at NOON EASTERN TIME, Social Workout will host a virtual awards ceremony to celebrate the end of the challenge....

...and the beginning of something we're calling The Million Minute Month. Oh yes, sports fans, when Tax Day comes, we'll be ready with cartharsis. We're gathering an army, and starting a crusade, and we're unafraid to mix our metaphors. Check it out. Rest up.

The Million Minute Month sounds cool and I should rack up lots of minutes. My half-marathon and Bike Tour both take place within that time.

Yikes!  A million minutes is a lot of minutes.  If we averaged 67 workouts a day for the last 31 days, even at 60 minutes a workout we only have about 125,000 minutes.  We'll need to get some friends to join the challenge if we want to increase that by 700%.  Two weeks to recruit, people!  Either that or we have to start working out eight hours a day!  I guess I could be down for that, too.  :)

@nfolkert  Sure, but there were also workouts in March by people (like me) who didn't do feralicious.  Plus, active moments that aren't part of a workout definitely could add up.

Get great news and jump up and down? There's a minute!  Actually, that gives me an idea...
