Corn Syrup Makes You Fatter than Regular Sugar Does

- Sugar Cubes (via Myki Roventine)
Give one set of rats high-fructose corn syrup and another set regular table sugar, and even when they eat the same number of calories, the rats on the corn syrup get a lot fatter. "Some people have claimed that high-fructose corn syrup is no different than other sweeteners when it comes to weight gain and obesity, but our results make it clear that this just isn't true," says the study leader.

HFCS is Liquid Satan.
And for the record, everytime I see one of those stupid commericals from the Corn Refiners Ass., I want to punch the copywriter in the face and scream, "IT IS OF THE DEVIL! OF THE DEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVIIIIILLLL!"
But that might not get my message across in a respectful manner.
