- Medical: Men who sit around all day are 35% more likely to drop dead of a heart attack than men who are on their feet. They should get outside. 20 minutes of outdoors time a day, will make you feel 20% better. Please also know that reading burns more calories than TV watching; and 80% of Americans over 40 have CMV, a member of the Herpes family that "rarely causes symptoms." If you do have a weak heart, however, you may have to go to the Dominican Republic to get stem cell therapy. Or you could wait ten years until it's approved in the U.S....
- Food: Egg noodles beat ramen; wild rice crushes brown rice; and quinoa destroys couscous. Also, chicken marsala is healthy, and canola should be your go-to cooking oil. Avoid vegetable oil and margarine, but butter is cool. FYI: Maria Rodale, CEO of Men's Health's parent company, wants you to know that her grandfather started the whole organic food movement, and you should go organic if only for selfish reasons.
- Sex: Watching porn does not change the kind of sex you like. Two thirds of women prefer lubricant. Men should pick up girls at the book store, not the bar.
- Exercise: If you can do between 55 and 74 pushups in three minutes, you're average. (You can take breaks.) Over 111 is extraordinary.
- Cars: Women have more car accidents per mile than men, but crashes involving men are much more likely to be fatal.

gotta try that pushup thing. I'm pretty sure I can do over 111 in 3 minutes though.

Ditto on the pushups. My first set is usually 50. I knock those out in probably 40-45 seconds and feel like I can do more, but I stop so I have some juice for my next 2 sets.

yeah, me too. I usually do 40-60, then 30-50 twice, then 10-20 diamond pushups. With resting it's about 6-9 minutes, or 2-4 punk songs.

How is vegetable oil out and canola oil in? I use butter for everything.
