How To Hide a Pool Anywhere

Used to be that heavy gym floors that slowly, horizontally retracted to reveal a pool beneath, a la It's a Wonderful Life, were the state of the art in stealth pools. No more! Behold, the Hydrofloor. It looks like a regular floor, but then it slowly, vertically lowers, pushing the water beneath the floor up to the surface, until the desired depth is achieved and the formerly dry room is transformed into a watery paradise. 

As Hydrofloor puts it, their moveable floors allow you to "exploit the surface area of the swimming pool by converting the associated terrace or indoor pool room for other uses, e.g. recreation, social events, for dining and dancing." At last, a solution for that pesky "ballroom" or "indoor pool" dilemma! Now the answer is both — as long as you follow Jack Donaghy's advice from 30 Rock and buy all the floors below you in your apartment building.
