Years ago at Jivamukti, I took a memorable class from a stunning blonde woman who played awesome music and chided me for doing a crooked headstand. The blonde was  Colleen Saidman, who soon thereafter left Jiva, opened her own hit studio in Sag Harbor, Yoga Shanti, and married Rodney Yee, superstar guru to celebs like Donna Karan. Total yoga power couple. So here's your super healthy fall foliage weekend strategy: Colleen and Rodney are hosting a retreat at the Omega Institute on the weekend of October 16th. Omega is like summer camp in the Hudson River Valley, and is likely to be stunning at this time of year. Take Amtrak up the Hudson listening to James Taylor or Krishna Das, and imagine you actually live in Northern California. $375 gets you two days of yoga. Room and board sold separately. If you're on a super budget, you can actually camp out and get three really good vegetarian meals a day for just $160. Or, bring your sweetie and book a "couples cabin" for just $382.
