Yesterday we told you that your brain releases more endorphins when you exercise with a group. Today, we bring you yet another reason to work out with company: better performance. The New York Times reports that runners who train with a group run faster. In the words of elite runner Dathan Ritzenheim who dramatically improved his performance after joining a running team this summer, "you feed off the energy of other people." So group training makes you happier and faster.
