How I'm BMOC and full circle at Superdive

Last night, morizzle and I went to SuperDive....we decided to celebrate the end of the feats of summer, where it all began. Memories of my crutches and hot pink lipstick kisses mixed with the smell of beer. There were lots of young men swarming the kegs and I felt a little bit like I was posing as Courtney Cox on the cover of a Couger Town billboard. Morizzle turned to me and said "whats up college, we should play Beirut!" About thirty seconds later a polo shirted boy with a ping pong ball said "hey wanna play beer pong?" The lame pick up line from the bro seemed okay because this was like...umm...sports? ....almost like....free-throws...Fresh back from my Mets game, I figured that in the what up college spirit I'd join the young lads. We high fived with when I got ping pong balls in the cups and I totally "made it happen." Okay, so the team with the dude in a fedora hat may have won...but I drank beer and then I walked out of the bar wearing his fedora (his friend chased after me though...). Point is 1) Younger boys are...well...boys...and sass needs a man. 2)I think SW has improved my competitive sports abilities, especially while intoxicated. 3) I look damn cute in a fedora 4)sept is totally the new july.
I'm totally BMOC

I'd like to summarize the summer: the good, the bad, and the broken- but most of all, why I'm "Big Man on Campus."

The good (best of summer)
-best workout was a four hour hike and 1.5 hour canoe to a fish shack across the water in Paraty, Brazil. The runner up best workout was skinny dipping in big waves in Trinidade, Brazil.
-best exercise accessory of the summer- my MAZ multipurpose shoes-for walking, climbing, and DANCING. can't wait to take them to a capoeira class.
-best moment of pride: when vonhottie did princess broken foot bootcamp and rocked it hard core with both weights and cardio.
-runner up best moment of pride: ability to do a headstand now! i'm obsessed with this new skill.
-cheering myself for being broken, but treating myself to 10 sessions with an excellent trainer and learned new fitness tools on one foot!
-fave new class to peg as regular: Hot Yoga with Jess
-working out with new SW folks...um..duh...and uh...celebrating after.
-doing lunges and wheel poses at the ATL airport and getting a standing ovation from a group of middle schools students from Mexico.

The bad
--breaking my foot and spending five weeks on crutches
-worst hotel bike ever with the greatest view of the Favela
-not able to even bench half my weight
-finishing my ten training sessions and not able to afford continuing them.
-the lobby of David Barton
-not having time to make a shorts video with vonhottie so we could win 10 grand.

The broken
-I did over 60 workouts despite that for five weeks I was on crutches and managed to do cardio and strength training at least five times a week.
-As much as being a row ho was a pain in my lats, I did get some great new muscles in my shoulders and back.
- i have a mean one footed plank.
-"if you can't walk on the grass, fly over it."

PS. MR. MOHAWK, remember that time you said that you had eliminated your tough competition because I couldn't compete with a broken foot...um....you were wrong ; )

Ha! I saw that coming. You're all kinds of awesome, and I know EXACTLY what you're capable of with a broken foot. Which is to say, lots :)
